The Plastic Valley Monster
About
A malignantly-narcissistic con man returns to his childhood home intent upon exacting revenge against his ex-wife for having exposed his perversions. Although she is not all sweetness and innocence herself, her ex-husband’s return leads her to realize that she has a strange, fated bond with another man whom she once brutally rejected and defamed for the sake of societal expectations. But, when her ex-husband finds a grotesque artifact that trades power for the blood of gruesome sacrifice, the bonded lovers, and everyone around them, become prey for the deranged ... and their bond is jeopardized.
The truth is in the blood.
Praise for this book
"Well thought out and poetic at times, I would recommend this to someone who wants the feel of a classic or “traditional” psycho killer/brainwashed cult horror story in a modern setting (but actually done well). It respects the reader’s intelligence and is paced well enough to both be exciting and the reader to digest and rebuild suspense after every turn. The writing style is uniquely dark and reminds me of Lovecraft at times. Clearly meant for an audience that enjoys and respects the art of writing and not just the story being told. Do not read if you are looking for a simple, easy, or run-of-the-mill story. Would highly recommend if you want something that feels like Poe. If this book were written a few decades ago it would be considered a classic."
