"The Haunting of Sheila Lee is a masterfully told tragedy about a woman wrapped in a web of lies and deceit. A truly fresh take on classic haunting/horror tropes that will leave modern horror connoisseurs guessing until the very last page."

– Josh McGann

"This one kept me wondering what was really going on with the MC. When I thought I had it figured out… I didn’t. I thought it was a great take on a possession story." (The Haunting of Sheila Lee)

– Christy Nelson

"My emotions ran the gambit. Even when I thought I had figured it out, I hadn’t." (The Haunting of Sheila Lee)

– Laura Barnette

Well thought out and poetic at times, I would recommend this to someone who wants the feel of a classic or “traditional” psycho killer/brainwashed cult horror story in a modern setting (but actually done well). It respects the reader’s intelligence and is paced well enough to both be exciting and the reader to digest and rebuild suspense after every turn. The writing style is uniquely dark and reminds me of Lovecraft at times. Clearly meant for an audience that enjoys and respects the art of writing and not just the story being told. If this book were written a few decades ago it would be considered a classic. (The Plastic Valley Monster)

– Josh McGann

"This book has it all… monsters, superheroes, murder, and a little romance. Put me in mind of X-Men meets The Walking Dead (with monsters instead of zombies) and The Mist. I enjoyed the characters and the story." (Dreadland)

– Christy Barecky

"A haunting ghost story that begins as a psychological thriller and descends into a chilling supernatural mystery - one that challenges our understanding of what the world allows. Tis is a tale that lingers long after the final page, raising more questions than it answers and daring readers to glance over their shoulder.
Uilleam Whitedale is a masterful storyteller, known for crafting eerie, immersive settings and emotionally layered characters. His fascination with the hazy threshold between the real and the unreal allows him to build narratives that are as intellectually provocative as they are unsettling. His work consistently explores the fragile boundaries of perception, making him a distinct voice in modern supernatural fiction." (Malignant)

– Laura Barnette

"A great collection of dark, funny, and twisted short stories." (Bizarre Fates)

"Whitedale's poetry is like glass: smooth and reflective. From beginning to end, his characters develop in subtle, tragic ways that render them inescapable from each other yet necessarily exclusive of one another. The language throughout is fresh, powerful and beautiful. The narrative sings. Whitedale's work is so obviously inspired. It's easy to become immersed in the voice and the deep emotion in every page. Intense!!" (The Grim Light of Duplicity)
