La Noche de la Chankla

In the small desert town of Agape, New Mexico, five natural brujas, the Sisters of the Star, are suddenly beset by an unknown evil, which has come for more than just their lives. Luna Cervantes, a bruja, fears for the safety of her family and friends, especially her ten year old grandson, Javier, but the brujas do not know how to find or remove their enemy. Through communion with spirits, research, and their own experiences, they come to believe that it may have something to do with an Evangelical megachurch that lies close by the town on the Texas border, and those within the town who are under the church’s influence. But, after being attacked by dark magic, feral dogs, church-controlled authorities, and what they believe might be Norse werewolves, they discover that the church hides something far more sinister than they could have imagined.
