Whether we desire one who wants us is plagued by social weights,
That stand in opposition to the fates.
We may have many reasons for refusing to requite,
But killing it with lies simply isn’t right.
And once we shit on love, we shit on life,
And no matter if we then gain joy or strife
Success or failure, love does not come again,
Not in truth, not as a lover or friend,
We just pretend, hoping that going through the motions
Will bring us sincere devotions,
But it only brings us lies, bred by the lies we told that god had heard.
It is not love at all, just empty word,
And what we think feels like love is only guilt,
On a path to feigned relations that will wilt.
You do not love him, for you cannot love at all.
Your failure to confess will lead to your fall.
You lied, and fate will catch you for it,
As everything you touch will turn to silt.
God knows your sins, and so do you.
