All we know how to do now is hurt each other, lie,
Never asking why.
Seeking ruin and disgrace,
Against a one-time friendly face.
Fool each other with niceties,
Faking friendship, even please.
What is this disease?
No help, no forgiveness,
No communication,
We only obsess,
Over gain and property,
False words and phony hearts,
There’s no true love in this misery.
There is no resolution,
Only greed and moral destitution.
Caring not for those who for us sincere,
Caving in to senseless fear,
Selling our souls for nothing good,
No embraces, no hellos renewed, as we should,
If only you could.
You were loved, but hate withstood.
