To Trap a Body Desperate

You never wanted her before, with decades past to tell her,

She wasn’t appealing to you ever, until you realized you’re a loser.

Just lost someone important, and has a had a hard time,

Use it man, give no thought to moral crime.

She’s unstable, naive, and all alone,

You know her friends, use it all, play innocent, break through her zone.

And she’s one you know from past, with a wide-open door,

So you decided to settle for her, since time you have no more.

You found the lonely one, desperate, now make your move,

Slip yourself unasked into her life’s little groove,

Don’t give her a chance to stop, not a chance to think,

No space, no room, no free time, no time to even blink,

Crawl into that inbox and blow up that phone,

Use that past connection to a common home,

As a lever, she’ll be too pressured  to deny,

Too worried about what they would say, if she didn’t like you, guy.

Use those holidays, worm your way in good,

That nostalgia work wonders, as it should,

But don’t stop there, don’t let her slip,

Buy those tickets and push that trip.

She’s an easy mark and you know it,

And you can’t get anyone else, so don’t you blow it,

Once you’ve got her isolated, do the thing,

Use your trap to spring that diamond ring.

Because once she knows what you really are,

You know she’ll run, run away so far.

So trap her while you’ve got the chance for real,

Play your cards right, and seal the deal.

So she’s not really a catch, and for her you don’t really care,

But she’s your last chance and she’s unaware.

She doesn’t know she’ll just be a maid, don’t blunder,

And a hole at night, while you dream of younger.
