Thanks for the Vindication

Thanks for proving me right.

For living the lie I’ve claimed you live all along,

For being the bad person you showed yourself to be,

Vain, using, dishonest, yet spineless and neurotic,

Owned by the same fools you use.

Spoiled like cream in the full sun, heartless, deranged.

Thanks for the silence that spoke your true nature,

For the judgments so wrong but self-serving, preconceived,

That you still cling to as your excuse.

Thanks for the lies that you keep,

That burn a hole through your guise,

And show you for what you really are.

Now finish the job.

Take that diamond and become truly worthless,

One who would sacrifice sincere love and friendship,

For sadism, falsity, and a delusional air of importance.

You’re not hurting me, spiteful soul,

You’re hurting you for a fantasy you know is illusion.

So nestle down in that bed of shame you deny,

But remember your vindictive heart, as you live that lie.

Nothing real, nothing true, nothing lasting,

Bought and sold.

You don’t love him, and he does not love you,

Neither even knowing what that means.

Two empty hearts afraid of the truth,

But I will always plague your dreams.

You stand convicted by your own actions.

The price you pay for selfishness obscene.

You are exactly what I have said,

So fake it always, until dead.
