I died for no reason, 

For no love that did call, 

For a petty face,

My life taken away, 

Sacrificed for nothing, 

But a vampire’s false sway.

Dead now, without meaning, 

Without night, without day, 

Heart pierced by a ghost,

Just a vile shadow astray.
