The Super Pig

There was one who was just ghastly,

The bottom of the barrel in ugliness and ego,

A greedy pig beyond measure, just no,

And, yet, she still let him in farther than she had one better,

One who’d loved her so.

And the only asset that specimen of disgust had was money.

So she could not say it was not that,

That there was some other consideration, just no.

There was nothing else there.

That’s what she would take over him for greed and status,

To reap applause from others for landing a wad.

But he was there than gone, the grotesque fraud,

And while it might have been pleasant to think she’d would not allow herself to sink that low,

She never got rid of anyone, no matter what level of slime, oh no.

And so, even that shame to humanity, had felt superior enough to toss her aside,

Because she’d made herself so low by pining for things that were not men,

And having lied.

And even if she’d told him no, prompting him to depart,

She’d still let him farther in her world than a sincere heart.
