They called themselves believers but in what did they believe?
Their lives were marked by selfishness, not love, greed as a disease.
The did not forgive unless it was for their own advantage, need.
They did not repent for lies, feigning regret in prayer not deed.
They worshiped wealth not charity, did not mature with age.
Children and spouses only property, locked in a social cage.
They hated freely, with smiles plastered fake to deceive,
And judged everyone they came across, those lost not to be grieved.
They collected cars and clothes and houses, pretending to be pious,
And had no qualms with abusing, cheating, or breeding lies like lice.
They feared neither eternal damnation nor burning in the fire,
And gave away their lack of faith with immoral action and perverse desire.
So what exactly did they believe in, what dogma stated in lists?
They believed in nothing, nought at all—they were selfish nihilists.
And she was one of them, one of the fake of piety,
Taught to be a hater, liar, and to submit to them in sinful apathy.
