I am at long last free of the chains you invented for me,
Having treated me in secret as an enemy from the start,
You, a vile liar glowering down at me from a high-born perch existing only in your imagination,
Whispering against me, building the foundation for your eventual ruse.
I became what you wanted, stupidly returned your bile,
And I sat judged for it, when you were just as guilty all the while.
But my debt is paid for all time and yours is outstanding,
Though I did not press you down, let you walk free,
Showed you the charity you did not have for me,
Like a child who invented a story, mum in the face of persecution,
Hiding your lie to get your way,
In your arrogance and denial, in your silence, you remain forever guilty.
You failed to ruin me through planned degradation,
And have chosen to ruin your own soul, your own salvation.
